Life moves along. Nora is 8 weeks old, eats an insane amount of formula, and finally gives me two 3 hour blocks of sleep between midnight and 6AM most nights. She's more high-strung than Claire ever was, but is a little cuddle-bug.

Claire's doing much better since getting over her virus. Sunday was the best day she had in a long time, and I am thrilled that her Aunt Jen and cousins were here to see it. She sat just about straight upright in her wheelchair, normally we have to keep the seat tilted all the way back or she throws her head and trunk forward. She kept following a toy as I moved it from side to side on her tray, and she kept her hands on it when I placed them. We're still noting increasing spontaneous arm and leg movements. I tried getting a video of her lifting her buttcheek, but she of course decided to stop as soon as the camera was on.

Being solo with the 2 girls is about what I expected. I did take them both to Walmart Friday since Nora needed formula, and I think it went fairly well. Truly the hardest part of traveling is unloading Claire's wheelchair and getting her into it at each stop, then getting her setup properly in her carseat again to leave. That will get much better when I am finally able to adapt the van, and just roll her right in and strap her down. Then travel will be a breeze. It's in the works, just trying to find out the best way to do it on limited funds. I think insurance is going to help us out, and Honda gives $1000 toward adapting their vehicles if you buy one new, which we did.

It's actually snowing, I can't beleive it..

Well, this is one of those rare moments when the planets align and both girls sleep at the same time.. I am gonna try to eat and get some housework done.
